Lukas Renlund was born in 1984 in Vasa, Finland. In 2005 he moved to London where he studied photography at the London College of Fashion. His editorial work has been featured in a number of distinguished publications including Elle, Zoot Magazine, Euroman and Ud & Se. Other recent clients include Warner Music Denmark & Norway, Kraft Foods, British American Tobacco as well as Lexus in Copenhagen. Lukas' works have been shown at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. In 2009 his premiering solo exhibition "Mirror Universe" opened in London's East and West End districts.

Lukas' images display a distinct graphic sensibility and are filled with playfulness and spontaneity. His work exemplifies how the traditional boundaries between fashion and art have gradually dissolved, allowing for works that are simultaneously among the most imaginative and multifaceted in the industry. He practices his photography by paying close attention to aesthetic finesse while exploring the boundaries between the ordinary and the surreal.

Lukas was recently nominated for 'Best Fashion Photography' in the fourth annual Black and White Spider Awards, the leading international award honouring excellence in black and white photography. Lukas currently lives in Copenhagen and works throughout Scandinavia.
