Although David Herm appears as a newcomer on the professional
photography scene, his experience in the film and photo industries
dates back to the 1990s. After training in a large studio for
advertising photography, where he gained exposure to still life,
people, car and industry techniques, he went on to work as a
freelancer at Select magazine for several years. He has
worked internationally for renowned photographers including Andreas
Gursky, and also in the film business for many years.
David started his own fully digitally equipped studio in Düsseldorf in 2008, where he photographs mainly still life and people. He lives between Düsseldorf and Lisbon, Portugal.
