Depicting static subjects has always been a source of fascination. With the technical breakthroughs accomplished lately in digital photography, Sill Life Photography now offers a wide spectrum of creativity that we are excited to show off.
Production Paradise has been featuring the best creative professionals of this type of photography in Spotlight Magazines since 2007. Most of the professional photographers featured in our magazines have been collaborating with prestigious brands such as Chanel, Dior, Jimmie Choo, L’Oréal, Johnnie Walker, Apple and renowned international magazines like Elle, GQ, and Cosmopolitan for commercials and advertisings.
To cope with the growing interest of these companies for Still Life photography, Production Paradise gradually opened up the most relevant sub categories to give more exposure to the talents. We first launched our Watches and Jewellery Spotlight Magazine in 2013 followed a year later by Liquid & Cosmetics Spotlight magazine.
With a frequency of 5 publications a year, our Still Life Spotlight Magazine is undoubtedly one of the most popular Spotlight Magazines. It features the latest campaigns and editorial shoots of product photography, liquid photography, splash photography, gravity photography, cosmetics photography, watches photography, jewellery photography and more.
Read what Production Paradise members say about Still Life photography and being featured in our website:
Pauline Rochas and Carole Beaupré from Coolife, Still Life Production Company, on the concept and definition of Still Life Photography: ‘’The French word for “still life,” nature morte, translates literally to “nature-death”. C’est dommage! In a very real way, that phrase is the opposite of what we do in our work. In our version of nature morte photography, we aim to create . . . nature-life. Our objects take on personalities — souls. They are variously regal, sexy, clever, witty, dangerous, delicate. They stand at attention. They slouch. They beckon. They engage the viewer in a visual conversation, creating an emotional relationship between the brand and consumer.’’
Caspar Arnhold, still life photographer and director, on how to promote still life photography: ‘’You have to get people to see your stuff- art buyers, scouts, producers, and even the clients. You can’t really afford to stop connecting with people, and find yourself continuously having to say ‘Hey, have a look at my new reel!’ It's great to have the tools on Production Paradise, they help you to be seen by the right people.’’
