Each episode of this reality-based “nutrition” makeover series tells the story of a different family who undergoes a rigorous fitness and health program for three weeks under the guide of a nutritionist. Each episode was culled from as many as one hundred hours of tape shot.

Richard Machado New York advertising photographers

A creepy boat, raised from the depths of the Hudson River, inspired Brazilian photographer Richard Machado to create a haunting editorial for the magazine New York Moves.

Shooting on this old boat proved to be a challenge: steady waves rocked the boat back and forth, complete darkness in the belly of the ship, cramped quarters to set up complicated lighting - all with only a few hours to shoot.

Thank goodness for the high spirits of his team - they all had a lot of fun while pulling off a memorable shoot.

Eros Messina New York fashion photographers

After New York based photographer Eros Messina spent most of 2005 photographing fashion throughout Europe, he recently photographed handbags for designer Zac Posen’s much-anticipated accessories line and look book.

Most recently, he created an editorial piece for fashion and culture magazine Butter.

The company announces another collaboration between RPA and Olaf Hauschulz, with the images of Acura's RDX now being seen everywhere. The shoot was detailed and Olaf worked closely with A.D. Brandon Levin, on set construction.

Daniel Garriga New York advertising photographers

New York City-based fashion photographer Daniel Garriga again combined his vision of beauty and fashion in two fashion stories: 'Country Chic' and 'Motorcycle Stories', both shot for bi-yearly exclusive publication Menswear/Conde Nast.

Daniel also had a chance to shoot the #1 selling hip-hop superstar actor T.I. for the new urban publication Jewel.

Also, some more 'Beauty' for Seventeen Magazine and a new campaign for Pantene.

ANSGAR New York fashion photographers

Police intervention was necessary to protect Ansgar and his team from the midnight crowd at Times Square, where the photographer produced a new fashion spread. Major Model Mgt. hotshot Amanda Del Valle portrayed famous "Revolutionaries" of the past, ranging from Che Guevara to Mary Magdalene. In one spectacular scene, the crowd, being somewhat "under the influence", mistook the French flag for an anti-American statement.

Emotions finally calmed down and hundreds peacefully watched on as Diane da Silva and Seiji Yamader fixed make up and hair. The shoot lasted half the night.
Styling was by Emma Pritchard.

One Naked Egg New York photo agents

One Naked Egg photographer Sabine Scheer grew up in Germany, and is now based in New York. Her work is described as "unique with a whimsical air of order". And people say that you "can't help to fall in love with her visual voice the moment you see her work".

The image shown here is not a poodle; it is a Bedlington Terrier, a noble, and somewhat snobbish, English hunting dog… Evidently, Sabine grew up photographing him and he is now her best model. Apparently, whenever the dog sees a camera, he starts posing!

Clients include: Nikon Europe, Procter & Gamble, Masterfoods, Kikkoman, Goldwell, IVECO.

Daniela Stallinger New York fashion photographers

You can see Daniela Stallinger’s style depicted in a recent story that she did for Modern Bride Magazine. The images show what is happening behind the scenes in a love story.

According to Daniela, “This one was modeled from an old Hollywood movie. We went to LA and even shot on the Warner Brothers back lot. Julie Alvarez, the Fashion Editor, was very much responsible for the great look of it.”

She also shot a soon-to-be married celebrity couple, actors Jennifer Finnegan, (“Close To Home”) and Jonathan Silverman as they fashioned the latest wedding garb in the latest issue of InStyle Weddings.

Spencer Jones New York advertising photographers

Shooting still life isn't all clothing and jewelry... as proof, Spencer Jones presents Exhibit A: photographing a real frog on a block of ice. "It had to be real, because the client couldn't afford a fake," says the photographer. Exhibit B: "shooting" the new XM-29 rifle at an extreme testing facility on a military base in both their sub-zero and heat chambers.

When not posing amphibians or dodging bullets, Spencer can be found shooting clean, crisp still lifes for Instyle, Barrons, Field and Stream, Life, Bloomberg, Marie Claire, and Travel & Leisure Golf.

Greg Neumaier Photography New York advertising photographers

Primus New York rental studios

Primus was an experiment that actually turned out bigger than envisioned. It was "a rebuttal to the incalculable sameness of rental studios... four white walls and a cyc, standard issue catering and overpriced equipment".

It was designed by two photographers who wanted a workspace that would be a photographer's tool, like a certain film or a lighting technique. The studio is old New York industrial in its roots, tempered with artisan wall treatments and modern Italian furnishings. It is a location with the amenities of a full service studio.

That's why photographer James Russell chose Primus for his French client. Using his creativity and lighting skills, James made beautiful images for the PLD lingerie campaign.

They say: "Primus is a space that is a muse!"

B-hive Stages New York rental studios

Each stage is unique and offers a range of possibilities for different types of shoots. All stages have 200-amp service, wifi access, a Mac workstation and free basic grip package.

Ask about their professional food styling kitchens, daylight stage, overhead shooting platform, and a large inventory of rentals including props, surfaces, fake ice, grip, lights and expendables.
