London: Jonathan Oakes
Jonathan Oakes has recently been devoting time to a number of personal projects. His image 'Alan at New Brighton' is part of a series of quirky portraits of model boat enthusiasts who sadly have no lake to use due to council “improvements”.
Jonathan has now had six of his portrait images featured in the prestigious AoP Awards with an image being selected for both the 2009 and 2010 awards.
Clients this year include BP Forecourts, Findaproperty.com, Hewlett Packard, Warburtons, Pets at Home and a charity project for the Sisters of Mercy - not a rock band but a convent in North Wales. Jonathan recently directed and produced a short promotional motion video for young person’s charity Streetlife Blackpool.
Jonathan is particularly keen to develop new working relationships in Europe and around the world.

Jonathan Oakes
Jonathan Oakes recently shot a series of portraits featuring D-Day veterans for the Royal British Legion 60-year anniversary appeal.
He was also commissioned for a major worldwide campaign for the UK government's Trade & Investment Bureau.
Last year, he agreed to shoot a campaign of portraits for the United Jewish Israel Appeal in Tel Aviv whilst missiles rained down on the north of the country.
He is currently working on a project for Onitsuka Tiger, the Japanese footwear and clothing brand worn by Uma Thurman in the Kill Bill movies.
He has been applying his "Modern Portrait" style to advertising and design projects for almost 20 years, and is looking to develop further working relationships with clients outside the UK.

Jonathan's style, which ranges from colourful and quirky to subtle and painterly, has been a magnet for financial institutions like Nat West, Barclays, Asda, CO-OP and Austria's Reifessen Bank.
Recently, he completed a major re-branding for Marks & Spencer Financial Services. He shot portraits for the Royal British Legion, raising over £1million for the D Day appeal. And he's also worked on a poster campaign for the anti-drugs charity FRANK, producing portraits in which the subjects appeared to have fishing hooks embedded in their flesh.
