  “At the age of 19, I packed a small backpack and an Instamatic camera and left Norway to go travelling around the world in search of a greater purpose," explains Vegar Abelsnes. "From exploring, experiencing, seeing, and tasting much of what the world has to offer, I gravitated towards a desire to photograph. Photography became a true passion in my life. It is not only a profession, but also a vocation and an avocation.”

  Vegar is a global photographer who is based out of New York and Oslo. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and two small children.

  Clients include American Express, AT&T, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chase, DnB Nor, E*Trade, Forest Laboratories, Inc., FTL Solar, Genentech, Grey, Harper Collins, Integer Group, Interbrand, McCann, MWV (MeadWestvaco), OhioHealth, Pfizer, Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, Scandinavian Airlines, Siegel & Gale, Simon & Schuster, VSA Partners and United Technologies.

  Latest projects include the Christmas holiday campaign for AT&T, currently up in all stores in the US.
