Australian-born photographer Mark Roskams started his career in the mid 80s when he began to travel the world and develop his interest in photographing architecture and design.

His work led him from New York to Florida, the Caribbean and back to Europe before he finally settled back in New York. His photographs have appeared in a wide variety of international magazines including AD’s Germany, France, Italy, Russia and China, and many others.

In 2011, his book of architecture and interiors 'Masseria - The Italian Farmhouses of Puglia' was published by Rizzoli International. During this time, Mark has crafted his style of using natural light in order to give structure and design an abstract shape, working with the form and colour that he is known for across his images.

Laura Barisonzi strives to create unique iconic imagery, which incorporates strong use of colour and graphic elements. Her lifestyle and sports work is based on the beauty of real active people and natural movement rather than stiff poses.

Margot Cavin is a still life photographer specialising in soft goods, fashion accessories, cosmetics, and beverages. Margot moved to New York City after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Professional Photographic Illustration. She works out of her studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn, but also loves to shoot still life on location. Margot believes that a calm and light hearted set produces the best environment for fostering creativity and getting the job done.

The shoot featured in this Showcase is the spring/summer '16 campaign for L'Etoile Sport, a high-end collection of women's wear for tennis, golf and fitness.

These images were shot in one day across three different locations in East Hampton at the end of this summer.

Conor Doherty lives in Brooklyn, and works all over.

Sue Barr’s award winning images are real, filled with emotion, combined with light and finely composed and edited so viewers don’t get lost in the muck!

There are so many factors that she brings with her camera kit that can’t be packaged and taught with a YouTube video. She combines patience and perseverance with humour and aspiration, and uses both her instincts and aesthetic to compose what she calls 'The ExtraOrdinary Moment'.

Campaigns that Sue has worked on include assignments for Pearson, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Disney.

Recently Sue recieved the APA NY award in category of Portrait + Lifestyle. 

Born and raised in Southern California, Michael Scott Slosar took his first photography course in 7th grade and didn't stop there. After attending Northern Arizona University and Brooks Institute of Photography, he moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2002 to pursue his career in photography.

Michael loves to travel and be on the go, and gets restless if he stays in one place for too long. This is why he currently splits his time between NY and CA.

Michael wishes the world was still film and Polaroid and believes film is the new vinyl. He loves anything vintage, "classic", and/or antique and never misses a good BBQ. Ssam Kim was born in South Korea and moved to London in 2002 where she graduated from the London College for fashion photography. She worked as in-house photographer at WOUND Magazine and as visual editor at Glass Magazine.

In 2012, Ssam moved to New York and shoots for clients such as Cutler and Gross, Andaz by Hyatt Hotels, Uniqlo Korea, Natural Selection, Rachel Cox, Gentle Monster, New Balance, Essie, Deborah Vereck and Morana US.

Ssam also shoots for publications including Harper's Bazaar Man, Nylon, W Korea, Glass UK, Vogue Korea, Harper's Bazaar Korea and Eloquence Magazine.

Mitchel Gray is a photographer and author with two best-selling photo books to his credit - 'The Lingerie Book' and 'Lingerie Fantasies' (St. Martin’s Press). He has two more currently in production, and has illustrated many more books, particularly in the active lifestyle and health and fitness fields.

Mitchel has photographed over 60 magazine covers, including about 30 for Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, M & F Hers, Runner’s World, Mountain Bike, Bicycling, Fitness and more.

He has shot many hundreds of magazine and ad pages for publications and ad agencies around the world. Much of his portrait work in recent years has focused on sports celebrities ranging from Tom Brady to Derek Jeter, and a whole lot of people in between. His fine art work has been shown in galleries in both the United States and Europe.

Mitchel is presently partnering with the United States Olympic Committee on a new fine art series, 'Bodies in Action', part of which has already been featured in the National Art Museum of Sport, and for which a new show has been scheduled in June 2016. Elements of the series are featured in a previous Spotlight.

Adrian Wilson has been shooting interiors and architecture for over 25 years. Originally from England, he has been based in New York for 10 years, shooting interiors for high-end clients as varied as Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Goyard, Architectural Digest and Victoria's Secret.

Adrian has been a judge on international architecture competitions, and his work has won many interior awards. He has also shot for Apple for several years, and was a guest lecturer at the Soho store.

Adrian has always worked with natural light and prides himself on his easy-going reputation.

Benjamin Norman is a New York-based photographer and director who The New York Times has sent on hundreds of shooting missions. Other clients call on Ben to shoot a wide range of assignments, from the small and disenfranchised to projects where he handles six-figure producing budgets.

In addition to still photography, Ben has directed short films for non-profits such as City Harvest (the largest food rescue charity in the country) and healthcare companies such as The Visiting Nurse Service of New York.

Zoe Adlersberg began her career in photography 14 years ago after cutting her teeth in advertising, working at Kirshenbaum and Bond in New York City. She focussed her talents on shooting fashion and portraiture until the birth of her first child, Uma, in 2007.

Motherhood changed Zoe’s artistic perspective and focus, and she decided to explore the world of children’s fashion, where she has had great success over the past several years. On shooting children, Zoe says, “I adore being able to work with my team to create a cinematic idea and story with the children. They really get into the roles and theme of the story and it feels more like play than work. Some photographers get frustrated shooting kids, but I love and thrive on it. Kids are themselves, no matter what, and we all have fun together."

Zoe’s editorial clients include Milk, Interview Magazine, Nylon, Marie Claire, kid-in and Cookie Magazine. She works for several children’s fashion brands both in the US and Europe including EGG by Susan Lazar, Molo, Tuchinda and Petidoux. She is currently working on a person project exploring the transformation from woman to mother.

Zoe is based both in New York and Paris. When not shooting or taking care of her enthusiastic eight year old, she does Ashtanga yoga, meditates, travels and cooks.
