In April, Setup Productions was busy with the new Venice Beach Campaign. Photographer Bernd Slotta took the pictures for Economia (Hamburg), in an unforgettable fashion. Other visits paid last month: M. Heitmann for the Focus magazine cover, Brax and Olympus Digital Store Checks and recess, as well as photographer’s Andrea Lennon visiting Barcelona for an upcoming shoot for Leclerc.

Our own projects included a promo for the new Restaurant Buda Barcelona where we shot pictures for the German Vogue Magazine. Finally with the war over, work is picking up quickly in the capital of Catalunya and we again welcome clients to visit our web page and contact us for special location web pages and estimates that fit their budgets.

Future projects include the launch of a new party concept with Danzatoria and Germanys Grosse 8 video installations by Lichtfront, and force tracks´ DJs MRI and Setup is moving into larger office space soon, so be prepared for a welcome party in the Vallcarca area.

Barcelona, the perfect film set: Since January 2003, Barcelona has registered close to one hundred shootings. Eighty of these productions have seeked the help of Barcelona Plató Film Commission and among those there are 8 TV-movies and cinema films.

The city of Barcelona has provided settings for Joséen Dayan's film Les parents terribles, starring Jeanne Moreau and Ariadna Gil; for Excuses! by Joel Joan, now directing his first film, an adaptation of the successful so-called play and the director and actress Silvia Munt has concluded the shooting of Las hijas de Mohammed (Mohammed's daughters).

The following weeks, those strolling in Barcelona might come across the scary scenes of Ouija, a psychological thriller produced by Eleven Dreams and Ibarretxe and Co.

NY and Düsseldorf based photographer Ansgar came to Barcelona to shoot an editorial for "93" city magazine with model Mariela from Group.

During his stay the German magazine Petra asked for some street style pictures of trendy women in Barcelona. Check the June issue of Petra magazine to see the results of Ansgar's trend search.

Fleming Models is proud to represent in exclusivity Maria Moreno who has been in shows for well known designers such as Hermes.

Jose Valenzuela has been the starring model of the last "Festina" TV commercial. Sara Cortés has appeared next to some other top Spanish models in "Gimnastika", the latest calendar by photographer Victor Moscardo.

Ovide Broadcast Services assist Sony Corporation and the New York advertising firm Young & Rubicam shooting short features in HD 24P.
Eight directors have been chosen among the best names in the world instead of American Directors only. The results are six Americans, one Australian and one Spanish - Mr. Nacho Gayán from the Production Company Pirámide. For this shooting, Sony Corporation and Young & Rubicam required the Spanish firm Ovide Broadcast Services' assistance in supplying HD equipments as well as technical advice from an HD engineer.
