Hein van Tonder is a food photographer and stylist based in Cape Town. He is known for his ability to craft beautiful images by working with and manipulating the incredible and long hours of natural light available in Cape Town.
Hein is a 2015 and 2016 finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year awards, and a category runner up in the 2016 Njord Sustainable Food Photography Competitions.
Clients include Sunday Times Food Weekly, Nobu Cape Town, Taste Magazine, Food & Home Magazine and Pink Lady Apples South Africa. He has photographed numerous books, including 'La Creuzette - The Story of a House'.
