    Mark Gong

    Advertising photographers

From New York to Shanghai and now travelling all over Asia, Mark Gong has developed an eye for capturing both the common and the uncommon. His images have appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, Numero, and many others. He is also the grand prize winner of the acclaimed Surface Avant Guardian.

Mark developed his love for photography in college, and skipped many classes to go shoot personal stories. Convinced he was going to be a war photographer, he joined The Washington Post photo team in their renowned internship programme. Not long after, his passion for photography turned towards the opposite end of the spectrum, fashion.

With the little money he managed to save, Mark moved to NYC to further his career. In the years that followed, his photos have graced the pages of numerous top magazines. Still not satisfied, he packed his bags and started a new adventure in Shanghai, where he is currently residing in between travels.

Clients include Beats by Dre, Porsche, L'Oréal, HSBC, Dove, Harley Davidson, Vogue China, Numero China, U+, Numero Homme, Elle Singapore, Harper's Bazaar Singapore, Style Singapore, GQ Singapore, Surface and many others.
