If you are in Madrid or Barcelona, you could consider visiting the following:

• Fashion now - a Barcelona exhibition about fashion parades and their history.
• Grec - annual Barcelona music festival, finishing 5 August. Artists include Antony and the Johnsons, Laurie Anderson, Peter Greenaway and the astonishing must-see performance of Imperium by La Fura dels Baus (until 28 July).
• Veranos de la Villa - in Madrid, cultural programme until 26 August featuring over 100 different artists including Liza Minnelli, Wynton Marsalis and George Benson.
