Born and raised in Yorkshire, UK, Stuart Tyson left for London to study Bio-chemistry. After receiving his first camera he soon became an avid shooter and following an opportunity to assist a friend he became hooked.

After a trip to New York he decided to relocate to build his career. Starting out shooting art books and gallery catalogues photographing the spaces, installations and often the artists themselves, he became adept with the 8x10 and 4x5. This led to commissions to shoot still life and products where his attention to detail and form was best employed.

To-date, Stuart's photographs have appeared in over 50 magazines and publications worldwide and his own fine art hangs on the walls of many New York institutions and corporations. Stuart is married and the proud father of three.
