Chris Howlett Photography provides advertising product photography for small and medium sized business in London, Croydon and the south of England. Focusing on creative and packshot photography for the luxury good markets including jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes & fragrances, fashion accessories and still life.
From Summer 2016 Howlett photography starts work out of the Greater London studio, near the hub of the newly dubbed Silicon Valley of the South. Surrounded and inspired by the dynamism of this bustling mini-metropolis, it's the perfect space for still life creations, high end jewellery shoots, cosmetic product photography, and pack-shot photography.
Clients include: House of Fraser, Rolex, M&S, Fenwick, Sarah Ho, John Lewis, Chopard, Bally, Illamasqua, Selfridges.
The man behind the camera: Chris Howlett has worked in London as a photographer for more than a decade and his work embodies his passion and skill for photography, concentrating on high quality still life and advertising photography.
His enthusiasm drives his quest for perfection and his skill, honed over the years started with fine art often created using old cameras and film. Then, as a early adopter of digital imagery, he learnt the creative digital techniques required to produce the premium high quality photography that his name has become synonymous with.
He grew up with a desire to study art and it was in one these first lessons that he developed this keen and creative eye for photographic composition, lighting and styling. It wasn't long before his spare room was turned into a darkroom; chalks, charcoals and brushes swapped for 35mm and photographic enlargers.Always an adopter of the latest technologies, it's no surprise that currently Chris works with the latest high resolution medium format digital capture suitable for both large billboard advertising and web based media. He can often be found utilising the latest techniques and creative processes available to a experienced creative advertising photographer in 2016.

"After working under restrictions and Covid protocols for the last few years, shooting in person in our London studio with a full team feels like a pleasure and a privilege.
Welcoming our diverse client base back into the studio is a delight; and new beauty start-up brand JMG and wellness brand Aguulp are just a few. We also continue to service our well-established jewellery and cosmetic brands.
We have lots of still life, food & drink, models and locations all in the pipeline for 2022 so we’re optimistic - whilst remaining vigilant - but mostly we're excited for the year ahead.
Get in contact to book your next product photography project."

"Goodness! It's time to take a (short) breath after a busy and exciting few months for Howlett Photography. In the summer we opened the doors to our stunning new South London studio and since then welcomed in new clients including Diageo and well established ones alike.
We've been full steam ahead creating magical imagery for our Kiki McDonough and Zacapa Rum Christmas campaigns. But with plenty still in the pipeline and some amazing locations still left to shoot in 2021, we're finishing the year on a high.
We'd love to see you soon either in our South London studio or any one of the amazing locations we have at disposal with in London and the UK. We look forward to shooting with you! Enjoy the festive season."
