Laura Viana recently worked with Hollywood actor Joaquin Phoenix on the movie 'You Were Never Really Here', that won 'Best Actor' and 'Best Director' at the Cannes Festival. She also recently worked as make-up designer on another Hollywood film with Jim Henson’s Workshop, and again as designer on ‘Edie’ shown in UK cinemas. She also worked on the Warner Bros. film 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.

Laura worked on the first and second seasons of US TV series 'Da Vinci's Demons', and for 'The Limehouse Golem', 'Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool', 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi', Disney's 'Cinderella', 'Young Adam', Portuguese film 'Amalia', Spanish film 'Pan's Labyrinth', and 'The Ninth Gate' starring Johnny Depp.

Her career in hair and make-up spans 25 years and includes US programme 'Will' for Sky Atlantic, along with many more in the UK and abroad.

Her portfolio also includes both hair and make-up for commercials, international music videos, and photo editorials for worldwide fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Allure, Jolie, Marie Claire, Cleo and Men's Health. Her commercial work includes brands such as McDonald's, Nintendo, Renault, Vodafone, Microsoft, Suzuki, KFC and Ikea.
