Andy Mahr is a Texas-based photographer. His work has regularly been featured in the Communication Arts Photo Annual, PDN and One Eyeland, and he has been nominated as one of Archive Magazine's 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide' several times.

Andy began his photography career as a travel and landscape photographer. He loves immersing himself in different cultures and has travelled the world, visiting six of the seven continents.

Andy started his career as an art director. Coming from the advertising world he has a unique understanding of the creative process and a real appreciation of what creatives go through to bring their ideas to light.

His travel clients include Texas Tourism, California Tourism, South Padre Tourism, Dallas CVB, Austin CVB, Monterey Tourism, GoRVIng, and Shermans Travel Magazine, just to name a few.

• Pandemic Boston: One moment in time. Six photographers. The COVID-19 pandemic changed the lives of everyone, artists and photographers included. The virus put projects on hold, restricted access to subjects, eliminated travel and caused anxiety. But many artists found new  subjects and ways to apply their craft to tell stories of how the virus affected us all. The exhibition gathered six photographers whose projects explore the lockdown in and around Boston between mid-March and late June, 2020. Until January 2021 at panoptic Gallery, Boston.

Alicia Stepp is an award-winning, internationally published fashion and beauty photographer based in Dallas, Texas. With a background in graphic design and over a decade of experience in the photo industry from production to lighting and casting, Alicia has helped many worldwide brands realise their creative visions. 

During 2020 she has developed safe indoor and outdoor shooting environments at her home studio and on location. Both are fully equipped for safe, socially-distanced sessions.

She has expanded her skillset to include product photography, including a recent shoot for Herbivore Botanicals and has perfected a remote capture capability which can provide cost effective and safe creative solutions for clients all around the world.

Dan Sellers is a Dallas, Texas-based architectural and interiors photographer with years of experience under his belt. This experience and design sensibility enables Dan to excel in delivering the best for his clients.

His ability to create compelling images for his clients helps succeed in showing their capabilities, whether on the building and construction side or interior design.

Dan strives to interpret the work he photographs with the feeling and aesthetic it was meant to convey. His high level post-production skills help to achieve this.

Stewart says, “With cameras I get to explore places and meet people I’d never know. It’s the act of shooting that drives me. The more I see, the more I realise there is. I’m always out there watching for a moment. I just want the viewer to feel what I see.”

In a world where content is consumed at the speed of light, Stewart’s work slows down the eye and creates moments of true engagement.

"Photography is about telling a story and I've been working as a commercial photographer for over 20 years. Whether it be through one frame or a series of images, I love making photographs that speak about the subject. I'm drawn to location choices that complement a subject yet recede enough to allow the subject to dominate the image.

Since growing up in Houston, TX, in my father's printing company, I've always enjoyed the meticulous nature of my business. From operating an offset press at the age of 15, I learned the importance of quality craftsmanship that has remained an important aspect throughout my life. What I truly love about photography is both the technical and artistic sides. It's the balance of both of these that create interesting images that resonate with the viewer.

In this day of digital media and our constant bombardment by visual clutter, it is so important to make imagery that tells its story in an elegant and unique way. Whether it's a single still photograph or a series, I enjoy making images that successfully communicate my client's vision.

Over my 20 year career I’ve travelled the globe photographing so many interesting places including sheep farms in New Zealand, a book about the American Craftsman, a Bourbon maker in Kentucky, the Lobstermen of Little Cranberry Island-Maine, and many others.

When not behind the camera, Erin enjoys backpacking with her husband and two pups, yoga and dance.
