Casa Bonay is the fruition of an idea carried out by a diverse team of collaborators. Among these creators you can find lighting, furniture, interior, fabric, and graphic designers, homemade soap producers, local weavers, international chefs, book editors, and coffee and wine experts. The one thing we had in common was that we admired each other.

Casa Bonay is a 67-room hotel set up in a neoclassical building in the centre of Barcelona dating from 1869. We have restored everything from the floors to the ceilings so you can experience Barcelona as we have.

We like to make love in antique Barcelona houses renovated by interior designers from New York, wake up in sunlit rooms, ride our bikes around the city, walk to the beach, shop at our local market, run in the park, drink delicious natural wines on terraces, sip on cocktails, eat Mediterranean food, read books over a perfect cup of coffee, nap on couches, listen to live music, dance to the best DJs, enjoy barbeques and tapas on sunbathed rooftops, eat our favourite comfort food any time of the day, and practice yoga on our private neighbourhood courtyard terrace."

Atico Studios is a photographic studio on the top floor of one of the last remaining industrial buildings in the Olympic area of Barcelona.

Laila Alsane is a professional make-up and hair artist with 16 years' experience. She was born in Latvia but has been based in Barcelona since 2008.

She enjoys travelling around the world with new teams and projects. She is also interested in exploring and learning new techniques and taking up new challenges in her work.

One of her latest projects involved working with the Jan Tana team in Columbus, Ohio and later Barcelona.
