"A nomadic family in a pickup truck at Khovsgol Lake in Northern Mongolia. They make a living by selling chunks of ice to nomads with no water nearby. Every day they come to the lake to chop ice out of the frozen lake and bring it to the countryside."

"The image was created when Caleo Magazine asked me to shoot their next cover story. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to create a bold, minimalistic series in celebration of the Bauhaus school and movement turning 100 years old this year.

I kept the setup basic, and rather focused on building a great connection with the model. Natural light, my faithful Nikon, and the right angles did the trick. And a great team behind the camera, of course."

Meike Bergmann shoots for book publishers, magazines, industrial and trade clients, as well as PR and advertising agencies in Germany, Europe, and the USA.

She recently worked with Aldi, Krups, Dorling Kindersley, Gräfe & Unzer and Random House, to name a few.

Meike loves food and is passionate about bringing it to life in front of the camera. She has filled her Berlin studio with thousands of beautiful and unique things to help her place food centre stage.

Silke Mayer is a Berlin-based still life photographer. She creates colourful and playful images with a special touch out of layered multiple images and geometric forms.

By providing skilled photography in the studio as well as retouching and compositing services, Silke offers unique images that stand out for design, jewellery, interior and fashion clients.

Silke is currently working on some new collage animations that will soon be available online.

"When he was a little child, Christian Doppelgatz was hungry all the time. Literally. He wouldn’t stop eating unless all food was hidden away.

It was a Christmas Day in the early 80s. The aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air when Christian looked, captivated, at his first photography book. In it, the world‘s leading photographers had set out across the globe to capture life on film in a single day. Here he was, a little child only, in a small suburb of Cologne, yet these photographs took him on a journey into a vast and fascinating world.

And for the first time in his life, Christian forgot all about eating.

Ever since, his photography has been about capturing the wonder and emotions of that Christmas Day, travelling, exploring and creating genuine human connections with his authentic style. He has shot many photos, has been working for a wide range of international clients, and - luckily - some of them even feed him a cookie every now and then!"

Jordana Schramm is an experienced interior, architecture and portrait photographer based in Berlin, Lugano and London. Her calm and clear daylight look defines her aesthetic.

Jordana’s photography has appeared in major leading interior and editorial magazines and books.

Recent work includes photography for projects by architect Fabian Freytag Studio and Co-Working Space Wertheim. She also regularly works with Dopo Domani, bfs design, AHM Architekten and many interior design and architectural clients at the forefront of their industry.

"I am a Berlin-based freelance illustration artist. I started my freelance career after a few years of experience in the advertising agency. Today, I continue being actively involved in advertising projects, but also enjoy participating in other art-related projects and areas like newspaper, magazine and book illustration.

During my office and freelance careers, I have illustrated for such clients as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Greenpeace, Fujitsu, Samsung, Nivea, Babybel, Hapag-Lloyd Express, Weru and many more. Recently, I have been frequently collaborating with Die Zeit newspaper and Ravensburger.

I work with pencil and ink as well as digitally. I like to mix techniques until it becomes impossible to pinpoint where one technique ends and another begins.
