After a career as a computer scientist, Marc Gysin decided to pursue his artistic passion and quickly established himself at the forefront of Swiss talent in photography. He was soon commissioned to do work for many leading companies both in his home country as well as abroad. After a few years he branched out to Paris where he maintained proximity to his Swiss client base and where he significantly expanded his portfolio of publications and commercial clients in the fashion and cosmetics industries.

Following three years dedicated to the fashion business he opted to focus and specialise in high end watch and jewellery photography maintaining studios in Geneva and Basel and he loves to travel worldwide for his clients.

Marc divides his time between Switzerland and what he calls his “home away from home” in Barcelona, where he gets his inspiration. His calm, serene and positive manner contribute to a great atmosphere on set and his focus and exact attention to detail are reflected in the results, which are always impeccable.
