Miles Willis
Food & Drink Photographers and Directors
Miles’ work is centered on people-based stories from the food and drinks industry. He has a particular interest in the environment, sustainability, the moral and ethical issues of food and drink production and our attitude to and relationship with what we consume.
Over the last year Miles has been working with Distilled Magazine, a Canadian based print magazine that explores the craft and culture of fine spirits, to produce images to accompany articles focusing on whiskey production in the UK. The extended commissions required Miles to embed himself in the process, living the life of those that work at the distilleries, to truly understand and best represent the craft.
Picked out for his natural and unobtrusive style, Miles’ images of the enigmatic process of turning barley grain into whiskey have truly brought to life the love, dedication and skill of those involved in this ancient practice.
To view Miles’ latest work, including other in-depth stories of trawler fishing in Brixham, Devon; wine production in Georgia and Armenia and organic farming in London, head over to his website.

Chris Blott

"I grew up and studied photography in Scotland and learned to love the vast spectrum of natural light that only a northern country can produce. I also learned to use that light quickly and efficiently because it often doesn’t last long. I bring this passion for natural daylight to all my work and it remains the starting point and corner stone for all my imagery.
Recent work has seen me on the beaches of Cornwall shooting for Celtic & Co and shooting in Madeira and Greece for Scottish brand Marble Fashions.
Upcoming shoots will have me travelling to Cornwall again followed by Crete and then when the longer days return I’m looking forward to shooting in Scotland for Findra and House of Bruar."

LUMIERE STUDIOS
CGI & 3D / AI
Lumiere Studios produce world class animation and CGI for TV commercials, social campaigns, print and digital. Working across multiple sectors, with some of the world's top brands, they are well versed at finding a solution to meet their clients' creative needs.
One of Lumiere’s specialisms is CG fluid simulation and particle dynamics. Bringing all manner of liquid and particles to life, from enhancing pack shots to create something entirely abstract. They have the tools and experience to make your ideas a reality.
Recently Lumiere has helped Fisherman's Friend create an ocean and lighthouse for both TVC and print, to help convey the breathtakingly powerful blast that their lozenges offer.
Another recent favourite was for Ibulieve. This time the team was given the opportunity to turn their gel product into a series of morphing animals, to indicate the speed and precision of their gel product.
Lumiere helped Rennie deliver a digital out of home campaign based around turning acidic foods into water, and followed this campaign with another, to promote their new liquid product.
Other projects have seen the studio get up close and personal to a ski binding, visualise the inner workings of a coffee pod, and add gruesome ink to the Kraken's tentacle. Each project brings its own challenges, and the team at Lumiere loves nothing better than solving them!
