Born in Wigan, Lancashire, the home of Northern Soul and pies, Martin studied fine art at Leeds University before starting his career at Granada TV, then moving south to work at BBC and then Saatchi & Saatchi. Based in London, but working globally, he continues to push creative boundaries, blending passion, precision, and innovation—whether capturing perfect light on location or pushing the limits of virtual production.

The Face Magazine: Culture Shift celebrates the trail-blazing youth culture and style magazine that has shaped the creative and cultural landscape in Britain and beyond. This exhibition brings together the work of over 80 photographers, including Corinne Day, David Sims, and Sølve Sundsbø, at The National Portrait Gallery until 10 May.

Trigger made a bold decision to follow his passion. At just 16, he left school to chase his dreams and found the ideal place to combine his love for cars and photography: Calvert Studios.
He refined his craft in the studio by working alongside some of the most respected figures in the automotive industry. His big break came when he began shooting extensively on location for Jaguar Land Rover, with leading creative directors recognising his talent and drive.
Trigger has since travelled the world, capturing images for some of the most prestigious automotive brands. His portfolio reads like a who’s who of the industry, from Alfa Romeo to ZEEKR.
These last months have been a great mix of work for Trigger, from locations shoots in Chile and around the world to days and days in studios in the UK.
