Alexa Merico is a creative fashion and portrait photographer who always finds a way to make her images interesting and engaging. Our editorial features unretouched images shot by Austin Huck. After a year of highly produced commercial projects the photographer was longing for something to revitalise his creativity, but was struggling to find a concept that he could connect with. Austin asked two of his favorite models to do a simple window light portrait at the studio for fun. Using just natural light they simply explored posing and expression. ''It was freeing to not have any expectations or creative brief to stick to, and just create. Having no concept actually allowed us to play and collaborate more freely, and we were all really excited about the outcome.''

Darren Setlow is a commercial and architectural photographer living with his wife and two boys on the coast of Maine, near Portland. 

Darren is known for capturing the essential sense of place of interior and architectural spaces, with detailed, careful compositions. His clients include home furnishings catalogues, hotels, architects, designers, builders, and magazines.

He also has extensive studio experience making inviting and aspirational images of bedding, bath, furniture, and accessories for clients such as LLBean Home, Plow & Hearth, and Company C.

Equally at home in dynamic, location-based work, he has been working in Charlottesville, Virginia with award-winning architecture and design firms such as Train Architects, Heidi Brooks Interior Design, and Folly C’ville. Upcoming shoots include a beautiful remodel of a historic brownstone near Dupont Circle in Washington, DC for ILEX construction, and two shoots for Starbucks in Boston and Philadelphia.
