The Cape Town Photography Festival is a city-wide celebration of photography, featuring exhibitions, talks, workshops and portfolio reviews across Cape Town during South Africa’s Heritage Month.

November brings two major film festivals: Cairo International Film Festival, the oldest and only annually running film festival in the Arab world, Africa and the Middle East; and Africa International Film Festival in Nigeria, with participants from across the continent and the diaspora.

Gavin Goodman is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. With two decades of experience in advertising and a background in cinematography, he brings a crafted, concept-driven approach to both commercial and fine art projects. In 2021, Gavin was honored as a Hasselblad Master in the Fine Art category.
