Yuyang Liu (b. 1991, Sichuan, China) is a Chengdu-based photographer who uses a documentary approach—sincerity, patience and flexibility—to tell human-centered stories. Nominated for the Prix Pictet (2025) and the Leica Oskar Barnack Award (2021), he served on the Photography Jury of the 98th ADC Annual Awards.

His work has been published internationally and exhibited in Shanghai, Paris, New York, London, and Beijing. He documents subtle social differences and ordinary lives, harnessing visual metaphor to reveal relationships between people and their environments.

He believes authentic, meaningful moments communicate a brand’s spirit. Commercial clients include adidas, Allianz, Airbnb, Apple, HSBC, Lafite, Jordan, JD.com, Nike, and Universal Beijing Resort.
