  • In Their Own Form: the exhibition featuring photography and video work of 13 artists, exploring the ways the blackness can be seen without stereotypes and racism. Photographers used the theme of Afrofuturist, which refers to a cross-disciplinary genre combining science fiction, Afrocentrism, fantasy, technology, and non-Western mythologies to reimagine the tense past, present, and future of the transnational black experience. Until 8th July at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. 
  • Memoir of a City: Selections from the David Garrard Lowe Historic Chicago Photograph Collection. The exhibition features the photographs of over 1000 Chicago's historic residences, office buildings, hotels, schools, clubs, transportation, infrastructure, and more. Until 15h June at the Art Institute of Chicago.
