Giovanni Bedeschi is founder and owner of Bedeschi Film. After graduating from Istituto d’Arte Beato Angelico in Milan in 1980 he started his career in advertising with agencies including Ata, Bates and McCann.

In 1991 he became Associate Creative Director at Saatchi&Saatchi and that same year directed his first commercial for Neutro Roberts chosen by Paul Arden for Cannes 1991 'New Talent Showcase'. He went on to freelance in Mexico, the Middle East, Russia and the USA before opening his own production company, Bedeschi Film, in 2002.

He has since won many awards including the Targa d’Oro with his film for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, the Italian Art Director’s award, the Key award and the prestigious Addy Award for a Corona Beer commercial. His production company Bedeschi Film has also won several Cannes Lions in 2016 and 2017.

Giovanni is a fellow lecturer at Milan Brera Art Academy. His first feature film 'Pane dal cielo' has been selected at the 2018 Aquerò lo spirito del cinema film festival and has won Best Film and Best Director award at 2018 Mirabile Dictu International Catholic Film Festival.

Clients include Pastificio Rana, Efko, Giorgio Armani, Stroili oro, Rovagnati, Banca Intesa, Discovery Real Time and Almaverde Bio, to name just a few.
