Cayetano González is a Spanish fashion and portrait photographer based in Barcelona. He also works as a cinematographer and occasionally as a fashion film and music video director.
After studying film and Fine arts, and working as a freelance studio photographer, he decided to start developing a portrait project based exclusively on natural light while combining analog and digital photography.
His editorial work has been seen in Vogue Italy, Elle Spain, Kluid Magazine, and more, in addition to his commercial work for Shana, H&M, Dolores Cortés and Dorsia.
“Shooting with natural light allows performers some space to move around without being burdened by flashes and gear. This approach adds realism and atmosphere to the final shot. It’s not about shooting with natural light, it’s about understanding how light works and making the best out of it.
Times change and social media is connecting people and cultures from all around the globe. Real stories and real emotions are my goal”.
