China-based and Singaporean-born Andy Wee has been shooting both Chinese and international brands, from Asia's Mazda and Toyota to Germany's Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW and Skoda to USA' Jeep, Chevrolet and Ford to Chinese brands like BAIC Beiqi, SAIC HongQi, FAW Mazda, Geely and many upcoming electric cars like NIO and DongFeng's SF5.

The recent launch of the CX-4, Mazda's Asian variant of American CX-30, to both Chinese and Japanese clients has been a linguistics test for Andy's team. The shoot has gone from studio to city to mountain roads, all in a week's work.

Andy has worked with numerous agencies, and his team is able to speak both English and most of Asian languages, and thus able to communicate clearly with everyone involved in both pre-production and post-production.

Anthony Dias has specialised in automotive, lifestyle, and landscape imagery for over a decade. Every year brings new projects and opportunities to create beautiful new concepts and creations. 2020 has been an unusual year, but hasn’t stopped Anthony from continuing to develop new images and keep his creativity alive.

With plenty of new work including CGI collaborations, supercars in epic landscapes, and recent work shot for Genesis, Mercedes, Nissan and many more.

Inspired by the tradition of German expressionist cinematography, Anton created, directed and shot this film noir video and stills project in Berlin. Is the protagonist an assassin or merely delivering a bottle of champagne? Only the viewer can decide.

Germany-based photographer, director and content creator David Maurer has been busy during the last months. In March, David finished one of his photo-productions in snowy Austrian mountains already under the impression of the upcoming pandemic. Since then David has not only been concluding assorted projects but also been planning ahead for upcoming assignments.

Apart from that David was commissioned to photograph Porsche’s brand-new Macan, Macan Turbo, and Macan GTS. With a luminous red GTS he tells the story of a couple on their weekend getaway. BMW entrusted David with putting their limited-edition model M2 Clubsport in the best light.

His latest projects for KIA, Škoda and other clients will be published soon. Additionally some personal projects about Porsche enthusiasts in Germany and an athletic fitness series will be publicised in the forthcoming weeks.

His clients include Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, AMG, KIA, Škoda, Mazda, Pfizer, Falken Tyre, Opel, Leica, Iveco Magirus and many more around the globe.

Along with the challenges of 2020, this year also brings with it unique opportunities to look forward to!

"Just released, the Ford 2020 ‘Backbone of Britain’ campaign took us on location all over the UK prior to lockdown with both GTB agency and Locate production teams, capturing the essence of people at work and the latest Nugget camper.

‘Every Star Needs Its Extras’ started this year in freezing cold January shooting the Vauxhall Grandland and Crossland SUVs press campaign (and a lone warrior!) at a castle in the stunning landscapes of Scotland with their agency McCann.

Lockdown life gave us an unexpected chance to collate our ‘Analogue Archive’ on IG - previously unseen images from the heady days of rig shots and 5x4 film.

Glad to be back with the team now shooting again!"

Jan Steinhilber is one of Germany’s preeminent commercial photo­gra­phers, highly regarded for his creative vision, technical prowess, and command of design.

Here, featured in this Spotlight, is a fresh personal series shot in Spain with the all electric Jaguar I-Pace, a couple of weeks before the lockdown.

In France he is represented by Muriel Moreau and in UK by Horton Stephens.

Like the rest of the world, Jeff and his team have learned ways to adapt the way they work, to keep everyone safe on set.  A few key changes have been put in place to keep everyone masked-up and well-spaced, but with tools like remote screen sharing for those not on set, shoots have been moving forward smoothly.  You’ll be seeing those results soon, once embargo dates have passed.

Looking back to earlier in the year, one of Jeff’s last projects before lockdown began was for Chevrolet, with their Suburban and Tahoe SUVs. With 2 weeks of shooting in Southern California, the team came away with a huge library of images to choose from.

And once lockdown was lifted, Jeff hit the road on a personal project with a Mini Countryman and a pair of real-life roommates. It was a great way to get ready for shooting in this new environment.

Kevin Uy is an automotive photographer based in Vancouver, Canada. His dynamic and adventurous style produces vivid imagery that has been used for commercial and editorial campaigns.

Kevin’s experience spans studio work and on-location shoots. With technical expertise, he aims to go beyond capturing a moment, to telling a story though his photography.

Recent projects include photographing the new Porsche Taycan Turbo and Cayenne S E-Hybrid plug in vehicle. The challenge was the tight timeline of shooting two vehicles in a period of 48 hours with only one support crew and final asset delivery was within a two week turnaround time for 50 finalised images.

Porsche Canada is the latest to join the list of clients that already include Lexus Canada, Scion Canada, Mercedes Benz Canada, BMW Canada and Toyota Canada among numerous local clients in BC.

Mickael Gomes is a French automotive photographer based in Paris.

He has been combining his passion for cars and photography for 10 years and you can feel it in his pictures.

Mickael is well known in the automotive photography community for his dynamic and striking images.

His clients are international companies such as Audi, Nissan, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, and Porsche.

This year has been really challenging yet successful for Sergei Zjuganov and his team, finding new solutions for clients' needs, as well as improving and learning new techniques.

He has continued the successful collaboration with Audi on their Q7 and Q8 models campaigns' stills, likewise Skoda Kodiaq and Honda CR-V Hybrid ad campaigns.

A beautiful sunny summer invited to capture the Porsche Taycan in the #discovertheunknown European roadtrip together with a Hamburg-based video team. 

Sergei's team has also helped various brands with servicing imagery and special purpose vehicles manufacturers with their marketing assets.

Sergei's goal for upcoming year is to reach new markets and find new demanding customers in Germany and other countries.

They quickly made themselves a name as a duo, specialised in transportation photography as well as film and CGI, working on projects for clients such as BMW, BMW China, Audi, Seat, Suzuki, Hyundai, KIA, Volkswagen, Volkswagen China and more. As well as editorial publishers like RAMP, Fuel and Territory. They are based in Frankfurt and Munich Germany, but love to work all over the world.
