Olivia Beasley began her career as an illustrator before moving into fashion and advertising photography. Memory and storytelling are important triggers for projects and she creates a narrative in her photographs showing people in real places or constructed environments to give a sense of time and place. Her story ideas often begin with a written text, which can be re-imagined as still and moving images.
