Award-winning photographer Kris Kirkham was recently named one of Lürzer’s Archive Top 200 Advertising Photographers, celebrated for his work in the 2025 World Food Photography Awards as a finalist in two categories and the International Color Awards (seven nominations and two honourable mentions).

This new series showcases a set of personal test shoots—creative spaces where Kris experiments freely, pushing his visual language in both stills and motion. From theatrical seafood towers to disco-lit banquet scenes, sculptural gyroscope builds and a surreal fairytale banquet, the images explore indulgence, balance and storytelling with a playful, elevated twist.

Based in London, Kris brings over 15 years’ experience as a chef to his work behind the camera, collaborating regularly with brands including Waitrose, M&S, Lidl, Nando’s, and Itsu across editorial, advertising, and packaging.
