In this Spotlight, we feature four photographers represented by Ballsaal.
Boris Kralj discovered photography as a way to reflect on his Balkan roots. Based in Berlin, he works across art and commercial projects, with a contemporary style in his fashion and portraiture imagery. He has photographed figures such as Susan Sarandon and Karl Lagerfeld, and his acclaimed photo book 'My Belgrade' traces the remnants of former Yugoslavia.
Canadian photographer Malorie Shmyr specialises in beauty, macro, and backstage photography. Her clients include Und Gretel, MAC Cosmetics Germany, and LM Studio. Since 2017, she has captured backstage moments for brands such as L’Oréal Paris and Maybelline New York at shows including Vivienne Westwood, Balmain, and Dior.
Ariel Oscar Greith, based in Hamburg and Berlin, focuses on portrait and documentary work exploring health and social issues. A human rights activist, he collaborates with UNICEF and is completing a dissertation on art and AI.
Originally from Siberia, Gleb Melenberg specialises in studio, fashion, and editorial photography. His experience with brands such as L’Oréal, Puma, and Dior combines technical precision with a strong conceptual approach.
