For James Hole, his camera is a passport and an invitation. An opportunity to begin dialogue, to satisfy his curiosity with the world.

His de-cluttered and direct images seek to capture simple moments of insight. Be that an atmosphere or a narrative, he wants to amplify and concentrate our interest in his subjects, to reflect his own sense of wonder and encourage that of the viewer.
