Amit Lennon is a London-based portrait photographer and filmmaker, who believes that an authentic and genuine interaction with his subjects is key to making a great portrait. He uses colour and location to create emotive images for brands and editorial clients and loves collaborating to maximise the possibilities of any brief.
He brings an attention to detail and story telling skills to his commercial work, whilst in his editorial work he can create a striking image in limited time.
Having worked with prime ministers and celebrities, he is equally comfortable working with less famous people - but no matter what the situation, he always makes sure his sitters are relaxed and the shoot is fun.
His work is in the permanent collection of The National Portrait Gallery and The House of Commons and has won many awards, including the AOP and Portrait of Britain several times.
