Seventeen years ago, artists Pauline Rochas and Carole Beaupré met and discovered that they not only shared a love of design, fine art, music, and photography, but a tendency toward perfectionism, a wry sense of humour and a visual sensibility predicated on classic compositions and boundary-breaking concepts. On the strength of that partnership, they founded their still life and beauty photography studio, Coolife, in 2000.

Clients have included Estée Lauder, Shiseido, Elizabeth Arden, Origins, L’Oréal, Smirnoff Vodka, David Yurman, Pepsi, Reebok, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine, among many others.

In early 2013, Pauline Rochas and Carole Beaupré expanded from commercial photography to fine art. In October 2013 they exhibited their photographic series of erotic portraiture, entitled 'ATTACHé' which received reviews in Musée Magazine and PDN.
