Mark Brumell
London
Mark Brumell is a UK-based photographer with over 30 years of experience, having started his career in 1991. His passion for photography began at age 11, capturing moments on his mother’s Kodak point-and-shoot during a holiday in Italy. This early excitement for image-making has stayed with him ever since.
Mark’s career began assisting in commercial photography, working on projects for brands like Jaguar and British Airways. He then studied Visual Communications at Bristol before working as a graphic designer with Dyson and later freelancing in London, where he combined design and photography skills. In 2004, Mark went freelance, designing branding and photography for the startup clothing brand Finisterre, while expanding his photographic client base.
He has worked with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, BBC and Channel 4.
More recently, Mark has focused on long-term personal projects, including documenting life in the Peruvian Amazon and his ongoing fine-art project 'Dancing the Unseen'. His work has been featured in exhibitions, including one at Apple’s London Head Office.
