The Covid-19 crisis surprised Stefan Nimmesgern in his new studio on the island of Madeira. First Stefan and his wife Angelika stayed in their "Quinta Girassol" house in March and then reopened the Studio Munich South, close to Munich in early April.

Of course, the team adheres to all hygiene requirements. In April Stefan realised a shoot for Sagas production in Wuppertal. The actors Harald Krassnitzer and his wife Ann-Kathrin Kramer were the models for the campaign motif for the production of the stage play "Chocolat".

In the meantime, some bookings from existing customers and fortunately, inquiries from new customers have been added.

Stefan used the weeks of the shut-down to renew his homepage.

Stefan Nimmesgern likes to work with large size models. In autumn 2018, he shot XXL format models alongside well-known TV and cinema actors. The new collection of airport buses by the world's market leader, COBUS Industries, a subsidiary of Mercedes Benz AG, was illuminated near Wiesbaden in the mood of the background motifs.

Stefan handled his own post-production, with the fine tuning taken care of by agency MÜNCH impact from Wiesbaden.

Stefan is currently working on numerous campaigns, as well as finalizing a book about his life and work. Entitled 'Wiederaufstieg', the book will be published by teNeues this April.

Stefan Nimmesgern loves his work, mainly because of the variety. In addition to HR campaigns he photographs celebrities for magazines, arranges his own expeditions into the wilds of the world, and visualizes image concepts for book projects by well-known authors.

"Most of all, I travel with my team and build dramatic light on location shoots," Stefan says, who previously realised international shoots for a smartphone manufacturer for many years.

Last year, Stefan created a documentary about the three highest mountains in Africa, which he also climbed during his expeditions!
