Powerhouse represents a collective of food photographers who create world-class still and moving images for retail, agencies and brands.

Horton-Stephens, London’s leading photographers’ agent for over 25 years, is delighted to welcome James Bowden to the company's sparkling roster. James is a surfer, skater and adventurer who lives what he snaps. The result is honest images that sing with integrity and a sense of narrative.

Having grown up surrounded by art and photography, after leaving art college Julia Bostock made a career in art direction and graphic design. Her energetic and fresh style gives her an ability to sidestep the conventional, whether working with well-known brands or her own reportage. She is motivated by the curious imagination and spontaneity of children and creates worlds within her shoots where they are both captivated and natural. This vitality comes through in all her work.

Her international vision, European connections and love for travel have informed her work and forged strong working relationships with clients like Vogue Bambini, Marie-Chantal and Nestlé. She is passionate about her work and is always looking to develop her creative style. Never one to be restricted by a genre, she has recently finished a project rebranding a highly regarded menswear brand.

Malou specialises in food, drink and lifestyle photography for advertising and editorial clients. Passionate about her work, she has a love of light and mood. Her energy and enthusiasm are apparent in all her subjects and the result is beautiful photography. She loves to collaborate with great creative teams to deliver and surpass clients’ expectations. Commissions have taken her across the globe and she is happy shooting in the studio or on location.

Malou has just finished working as Director of Photography on a series of commercials for Innocent in Hamburg.

Howard Kingsnorth has worked in most genres of advertising photography: pre-digital large format still-life, automotive, both in and out of the studio, people, crowds, sports stars, celebrities and wide open landscape... and more recently, epic cityscapes and helicopter shoots.

Schooled in technique and craft, Howard has formulated his own distinctive style and is always keen to develop his look and innovate new ideas.

Howard is driven by his personal work and seeks to apply his vision to commissioned work when appropriate. He is always seeking to develop ideas alongside agency creatives when possible and is happy to share his knowledge and experience.

Peter Searle is a London-based portrait photographer. He has photographed many of the most influential personalities of the arts, politics, science, military, business and entertainment. From Prime Ministers to prima donnas, he relishes those one-to-one collaborations as much as the big sets. For Peter, whether its a day-long shoot or an intense 10-minute encounter, a portrait is for posterity.

Specialising in car, landscape and CGI photography, Paul J Harvey has been shooting global advertising campaigns for over 10 years.

Recent news includes becoming a member of the board of directors of The AOP (Association of Photographers), and shooting stills for a movie which opened at the Cannes Film Festival in May. He was also a winner in the 'Abstract' category of the 8th International Black & White Spider Awards.

Photographer Patrick Harrison has over 20 years of experience shooting natural and inspiring images of people at work and at play.

It has been a hectic year for Patrick, shooting images for Vip Net's re-brand on location in Croatia, commissions from Google and traveling all over the UK documenting life for Cancer Research.

Stephen Conroy's progression into directing films continues at a good pace in 2014. As well as his stills work he has directed a new film for Ocado and the promotion of the Paleo diet.

Specialising in advertising, PR, packaging and editorial photography Stephen’s food work has been featured worldwide. His food and drink clients enjoy working in his professional but relaxed and friendly studios near London's Oval cricket ground - where Stephen and his team can organise all aspects of a shoot.

Carl Lyttle is an automotive and landscape advertising photographer based in London. Carl is one of the world's leading CGI automotive photographers and shoots advertising campaigns globally for leading auto manufacturers such as Nissan, Subaru, Mercedes, GM and Land Rover, to name but a few.

Nick Dawe predominantly works on location. The initial images featured in this Showcase were produced for Conran Design, as part of an advertising campaign for Cancer Research UK and linked to a Channel 4 programme, 'Stand up to Cancer'.

Nick often tries to introduce an element of fun into his imagery and regularly works on personal projects, adopting a similar approach of celebrating different aspects of life, with the latter photos, 'England Fan', documenting how the Union Jack, St. George's Flag, or simply the word 'England' can appear in everyday situations.

Jean Cazals is an award-winning food and lifestyle photographer. He shoots from his Notting Hill daylight kitchen studio as well as on location around the world. His client list counts all the major players in editorial, design and advertising. Jean also shoots cookbooks, with over 80 titles to his name in collaboration with numerous world-renowned chefs.

Jean’s work is easily recognisable through his fine mix of creative styles and food presentation. Always searching and creating, he constantly looks to bring character and a strong identity into his photography to elevate the final results. Food art is also something he likes to shoot and he has participated in a number of exhibitions, including a one man show in London in 2013.

Over the past couple of years Jean’s first book as an author, ‘Teatime’, received the ‘Gourmand Award Best Dessert Book UK' and he was honoured with a 'Best Food Photographer' award.

As his name suggests, Carlos Lumiere is a true master of lighting, combining his passion for composition with a rich and emotive style. Over the last decades Carlos has developed a unique portfolio, living and working in New York, Paris, Miami, Hamburg, Munich, Milan and London.

Paul Riddle is an internationally commissioned and published photographer of architecture and interior design. Based in London, he is regularly commissioned by a variety of clients, from leading architects and designers to agencies promoting corporations.

Recent commissions include the new UK couture store for Celine in Mayfair, London, The Great Northern Hotel in Kings Cross St Pancras, The Glasgow School of Art's new Reid Building by world-renowned architect Steven Holl, and the Le Sommelier restaurant in Copenhagen.

Marco Zimprich is a passionate freelance Director of Photography based in London. For the last 25 years he has worked all over the world, from Australia to Europe and America to South Africa, with over 800 productions to his name.
