Christophe Gilbert Amsterdam fashion photographers
Christophe Gilbert began his career in the 1980s working as an assistant for a renowned car photographer, discovering how light can bring a piece of metal to life. He soon realised that photography didn't have much to do with technique; "all you needed was an eye, preferably related to a brain, to make an interesting picture."
He quickly turned to advertising photography which led him to understand "It's not about what you see, or even how you see things, but about how you want things to be seen."
Christoph believes that small details can make a huge difference and he aims to create pictures with an overall goal, every time. He conducts all his own post production and image manipulation from his studio in Brussels.

An informal and affordable restaurant offering Mediterranean-style cuisine, its chefs use only fresh produce of the highest quality, including free-range meat and poultry. Vegetarian dishes are a speciality, with at least two vegetarian entrées and main dishes on the menu at any time.
