Dieter Brasch started his career as a freelance photographer in 1996. He is passionate about photography, most of all still life photography, and the scope of his work ranges from elaborate high-end advertising shots to editorials.

In his work, Dieter likes to personally attend to every detail, from photo composition and styling to lighting and camera equipment, including careful image processing. Throughout the more than two decades that he has been working in photography, and among all the different challenges presented by each job, the way photographs are created has always remained the most fascinating aspect for him.

In 2007 Dieter enrolled in the Danube University of Krems, Department for Image Science for a postgraduate programme, which he completed by taking a Master of Arts degree in November 2010.

In 2012 he opened a photo studio in the Bräuhausgasse, 1050 Vienna.
