Alex Galmeanu shoots across editorial, advertising and experimental photography, portraiture, fashion and other categories related to human personalities. Educated at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, he has been working professionally since 1998.

Alex has had work published in all of Romania's leading glossy magazines, including covers, editorials, personalities portraits, special projects and more. He has also completed advertising campaigns for local, national and international coverage. He has over 3000 images published on Getty Images and has had his work published in Forbes NY, BBC UK, Reader’s Digest Holland, Esquire, Marie Claire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, InStyle, GQ, Men’s Health, FHM, Playboy and Joy.

Alex has held personal exhibitions in Bucharest, Paris, Toulouse, Nantes, Rejkyavik, and Cork. He has also run training sessions for editorial photography in Zurich and Lausanne within the editorial teams of Ringier Switzerland and  workshops for stock images in Munich with Stock4B.
