Johann Sebastian Hänel is based in Berlin and since the 90s has worked as a freelance photographer for advertising and editorial clients. He specialises in architecture, people, large group portraits, sport and transportation.
Johann's architecture and portraiture work reveals a sensitive approach that gives emotional depth to his images. He has worked for advertising agencies including Jung von Matt, BBDO, DDB, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, and many others.
His clients include Adidas, Mercedes-Benz, AEG, Coca-Cola, Continental, Fiat, Kodak, Nike, Sony, Vodafone, Volvo, EnBW, and many more.
