10 years ago, Artists Group Portugal's promotional material stated the country to be Europe's "best kept secret". Today, this is no longer the case, with Portugal having overtaken every southern European country to become the place to shoot. Over the last five years, productions involving international clients have grown by a staggering 500%, and the country welcomes new clients from Europe, China, Russia, CIS, The USA, South Africa, and many other destinations on an annual basis.
Artists Group, an Anglo-Canadian company, was one of the pioneers in realising the true potential of Portugal. It opened in 1994 with Marilyn and James working out of a tiny office and has now developed into a company producing over 60 productions per-year. The group incorporates two modelling agencies, Little Angels for kids and Real People for adults, together with Snow Business for films, stills, events and decoration.
