Besides shooting the cover for a special issue of BEEF! magazine which was Calle Hackenberg‘s second BEEF! cover in a row, the young German photographer from Hamburg also produced two launch campaigns for the renowned traditional Swiss cheese company Emmentaler Switzerland.

Exploding sandwiches and cheeky ads for the take-away convenience product Emmentaler SmartSnack and in contrast to that the moody campaign for the Emmentaler URTYP with its centuries-old history that dates back to the year 1291, shot in a dark setting.

Furthermore, a new personal project by Calle explores the aesthetics of frozen food in ultra close-up, offering an unseen view of the products.
