London [UK]: Amanda Heywood

Amanda Heywood's extensive and varied career has seen her shoot for clients including Waitrose Food Illustrated, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, BBC Olive Magazine, Eurostar, Harvey Nichols and Green & Blacks.

Amanda has a wealth of experience, yet her ongoing enthusiasm allows for a fresh, keen and vibrant approach to all the work she does, both personal and professional.

With stunning views across the Capital, her west London studio is equipped for film as well as digital photography. With a fully-fitted kitchen and a large selection of backgrounds and props, it is also available to hire for stills and TV work.

London [UK]: Bill Kingston still life photographers

Bill Kingston's experiences in lifestyle and still life photography allow him to bring an evocative edge to his food work. Very much an advocate of the "real" school of food photography, his work is graphic yet retains an element of softness.
Over the years, Bill has worked with a number of food stylists and chefs, including Raymond Blanc, John Burton-Race and Alex Mackay. His shots have appeared in Sainsbury's Magazine, Waitrose Food Illustrated, The Times and The Guardian, as well as in advertising for Starbucks. He continues his relationship with R.K.C.R./Y&R shooting the latest ads for Marks and Spencer.
Bill is equally at home working from his north London studio base as he is shooting in such diverse locations as a Swiss ski lodge, east London roof tops, or Le Manoir au Quatre Saisons.

London [UK]: Carl Warner advertising photographers

Over the last few months Carl's 'Foodscapes' have enjoyed international media attention.

His work has been published in newspaper articles and magazines all over the world, and his photographs have been seen on global television reports and interviews.

His recent work for frozen food giant Findus will see Carl's imagery transferred to the world of the moving image, as he begins to develop his career as a director alongside photography.

There are some amazing projects for both stills and TV campaigns coming his way, so watch this space!

Zurich [Switzerland]: Christoph Kern advertising photographers

Christoph Kern is based in Basel and specialises in still, food, interior and architectural photography.

He works in his studio and out on location, shooting whilst travelling.

Included in this Spotlight are a selection of images from his recent work.

London [UK]: Dan Jones

Dan is passionate about photography, especially digital photography and the creative freedom it allows.

He is based at Factory Studios in west London, a fabulous new daylight studio complete with an amazing kitchen and client area with a huge TV! The studio benefits from fantastic daylight but can also be blacked-out for more complex shoots requiring lighting.

He is currently in the middle of shooting a cookbook for Oliver Payton's restaurant at the National Gallery.

London [UK]: Hilary Moore food & drink photographers

Hilary Moore has had a busy year working from her centrally located London-based studio. Her love of food and attention to fine detail has led her to work with many different advertising, packaging and editorial clients.

Hilary recently worked on the new 'Fusions Ice Cream' and 'Mini Angus Burger' advertising campaigns for Burger King. She also worked on the new packaging for Birds Eye and recently shot her first commercial for Seriously Strong cheese.

Other projects include Peroni and Giorgio Locatelli, Heinz, Ugo's, Knorr, Whitworths, Frico Cheese and campaigns for a number of the main supermarket chains in the UK and Ireland.

Hilary has her own studio in Vauxhall, London, which features natural daylight, a fully equipped kitchen, car park and easy Tube and rail connections.

Hamburg [Germany]: Jan C. Brettschneider advertising photographers

Jan C. Brettschneider is a Hamburg-based photographer with a great passion for food. For more than 10 years he has been travelling around the world shooting some of the best, most exciting food, restaurants, chefs and wineries. His award-winning cookbooks and editorial stories are all produced from his fully-equipped Hamburg studio.

London [UK]: Jean Cazals advertising photographers

Jean Cazals shoots from his daylight studio in Notting Hill, as well as on location around the world for clients including Conde Nast, Martha Stewart, Gourmet, Elle, The Sunday Telegraph, Olive, Delicious, Vogue Entertaining, and House&Gardens.

Jean has worked on over 60 cookery books with many top chefs, including Jamie Oliver, Raymond Blanc, Peter Gordon, Alain Ducasse, and Gordon Ramsay. He was nominated for 'Best Photography' at the 2007 Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards, and for 'Best Bread Book' for his work with 'Dough' at the James Beard Awards. Jean was also nominated for Best Photography with ‘Indulge' and Best Bread Book with ‘Crust' at the Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2008.

Cazals has produced design work for clients including Conran, M&S, Waitrose, Birdseye, Radisson Hotels, Havana Club, Danone, Sainsbury's, Grano Panado, and Robuchon.

His studio is equipped for film as well as digital photography, with a fully-fitted kitchen and a large selection of props and backgrounds available to clients. Jean also shoots TV commercials, and his production company can be contacted at Spoke.

London [UK]: Patrice de Villiers food & drink photographers

Patrice de Villiers has an extensive client list which includes major brands such as Hellmann's, Diageo, Schwartz, Eurostar, Nestlé, Kelloggs, Kraft, Clairol, Carrefour, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Westfield, Cartier and Selfridges.

Patrice is currently working on an ad campaign for St.Lukes, Heinz Beans for Landor, and has just completed a set of images for Gorge Magazine - a start up by final year creative arts students combining food and fashion.

Work in progress includes a book for Simon & Schuster shooting recipes and landscapes, ongoing commissions for The Times, Arena, Harrods and the FT luxury quarterly 'How to Spend It'.

Alongside advertising and editorial commissions Patrice will soon begin work on a personal book project, 'Love Music, Love Food' which involves shooting portraits of musicians and food. Follow progress of the book on her website when shooting starts in May.

London [UK]: Paul Webster food & drink photographers

Still one of London's top food and drink photographers, Paul recently shot for Waitrose, Ken Hom, Dobbies Garden Centres, Tiffin Bites, and At Home Catering. His Ocado shots continue to appear throughout the UK on delivery vans and the company website.

Digital image manipulation is another of Paul's talents, and he is currently experimenting with new drinks shots for a range of upcoming campaigns using multiple exposures and stitching for super-wide images.

London [UK]: Peter Cassidy

Peter Cassidy shoots from his central London daylight studio for clients including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Tilda, as well as an assortment of magazine and book publishers.

He is equally happy shooting on location and has recently seen publication of the third title in a series of food and travel books. This latest edition was shot in Morocco.

London [UK]: Steve Baxter Photography

From his studio in Shepherds Bush, Steve Baxter shoots for a large number of international and UK companies, among them Heinz, Ocean Spray, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, and Weight Watchers. He works with agencies and also directly with clients.

Editorially, Steve works with many UK magazines and shoots in New York, Sydney and mainland Europe.

His current work is available both in a portfolio and on his website.
