Yuki Sato is a photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Originally from Hokkaido, Japan, Yuki began his career in Sapporo before relocating to Auckland in 2007.   With a background in studio photography, Yuki is known for his meticulous approach to lighting and composition. Yuki crafts carefully controlled environments, then welcomes the unexpected. It’s in this tension between precision and spontaneity that his most compelling images emerge.
