• The Open Air Studio: An outdoor studio, purpose built to offer architectural lines and open sky. Paint or customize it any way desired - the sky is the limit!
• The Lake Houses: A little village of wooden shacks and houses offering a rustic yet variable location. Any look is possible, from Montana to the Caribbean, Tom Sawyer to Bruce Weber.

Just a 20-minute drive from central Cape Town, Studio 26 Locations is a dedicated location facility consisting of two components constructed exclusively for production use. It caters to both stills and cine productions of any size and description.

The Lake Houses have been extensively used for film and still productions. Custom-built to give Cape Town the one thing it did not have - a rustic timber, lake-side cabin complete with classic jetty and a set of shabby-chic huts - the location is ideal for any vintage theme, re-creating New Orleans, the Caribbean or the Old West. A vintage pick-up truck is amongst some of the props provided to complete the picture. Picturesque backgrounds, vehicle access, and the possibility of waterborne themes such as swimming and boating increase the many possibilities.

The Open Air Studio consists of an open roofed building structure, stairs, deck area, doorways, open windows, props such as columns, boxes chairs and plenty of neatly paved floor space. It can be filled with water, graffiti painted, decorated to look like Greece... at Studio26, anything is possible!
