  Joern Schmidt Postproduction (formerly know as Rockarts Imaging) does photo and CGI post-production, creative retouching, look development and on-location support. Joern is specialised in transportation, CG, still life and people photography and works for photographers and advertising agencies worldwide.

  Recent jobs include:

  • Post-production on-location (pre comps and look development) for Audi SQ5 catalogue images shot by Christopher Thomas and Christoph Adler.
  • Picture creation, digital illustration and composing for an image campaign for Green IT.
  • Post-production, virtual rig and look-up for the Jaguar i-pace concept car, shot by Greg Pajo.

  Dusseldorf: Joern Schmidt Postproduction

  In early 2015 Rockarts Imaging became Joern Schmidt Postproduction. The company name and logo may have changed, but everything else remains the same.

  Joern Schmidt Postproduction stands for providing high class digital retouching, make cool projects look a little more cooler and sometimes just make a silk purse from a sow's ear!

  Although JSP serves many different genres, its main focus is on transportation. For last few years, most of the company's projects were completed for the car industry and include many of the major - and minor - auto-makers from around the world.

  Dusseldorf: JOERN SCHMIDT POSTPRODUCTION

  "It’s all about the drive!" Joern Schmidt Postproduction, based near Dusseldorf, provides digital post-production for national and international clients such as Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Citroen, Land Rover and many more.

  Recent projects include:

  • Retouching and look for Michael Haegele who shot several races by Porsche’s 'Mission 2014' (After 10 years Porsche returned to the 24h Le Mans race and the LMP1 class).
  • Some special skills were required for an edit for Cartrans. Due to daily business it was impossible to shoot the trucks in a proper location, so they had to be reconstructed digitally. Joern Schmidt Postproduction also created the look for the campaign images.
  • Joern Schmidt Postproduction brought a legend back to life: The 1969 Ford GT 40. For this personal project the backgrounds were delivered by Maground and Joern Schmidt Postproduction provided the whole CGI part, as well as the post-production.
