London: James Murphy
James and team undertook a passion project in the studio this summer to flex their creative muscles. The mission: to create a handmade edible gift box using recipes from three of James's favourite chefs to send to clients and friends. These included Rick Stein's Peppermix, Josh Katz of Berber & Q's Everyday Rub Spice Mix and Jan Smith's Seedy Sprinkles, the perfect accompaniment to any porridge, cake or salad.
The shots selected in this Spotlight feature photogenic recipes, from succulent monkfish flatbread to vibrant beetroot and from seared steak and luscious chocolate cake.
For full recipes to inspire your home cooking masterpieces, check out James' Instagram. Food styling by Jan Smith.

James Murphy food & drink photographers
Along with the rest of the world, James Murphy and his team have had to adjust to the 'new normal' this summer working from his East London studio.
"Fortunately these past few months have been as busy as ever and this Showcase we celebrate the British staycation, shining a spotlight on some of our chefs' top gastronomic treats. From freshly caught, wild Atlantic oysters to crispy Devon fish goujons. And from melt-in-the-mouth, flaky Cornish pasty to the sweet and earthy flavours of Scottish grouse.
For an update on some of our lockdown content check out our Instagram."
