Max is a London based director, photographer and liquid specialist working across film and stills. Obsessed with image making since 2006.

He started his career in the film industry and worked his way up from runner to camera department, shooting everything from high budget Hollywood productions to low budget music videos, and even a banned horror film, which was exactly as strange as it sounds. Photography eventually pulled him in a different direction, and since 2013 he has produced advertising imagery for brands of all sizes.

His style is meticulously crafted, celebrating the beauty of objects through a deep appreciation for design and an attention to detail that is second to none. His aesthetic has always leaned premium, though he is increasingly drawn to work with a little more honesty and reality, perhaps the antithesis of AI. Elevated but authentic.

In 2019 he returned to film, bringing his precise photographic style into video with custom built motion control equipment, robots he designed and built himself, mostly because he had nothing better to do during COVID. With a deep understanding of both mediums, he moves seamlessly between stills and film. He can retouch, colour grade and edit everything himself, but what he enjoys most is collaborating with talented creatives to bring ideas to life.

Clients include Hendrick's, Nespresso, Swarovski, Made.com, Penhaligon's, Montblanc, Gallo, Hardys, Stones, Apothic, Kumala, Ealing Gin, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Red Bull, Mackays, John Lewis, and many more.
