Wanda Martin

Wanda Martin is a photographer and creative director working across fashionportrait, and music photography. She is based between London and Budapest, but is constantly traveling for work — frequently to ParisLos Angeles, and other cultural hubs.

In recent years, she has worked with magazines including i-D, Wonderland, VOGUE Portugal, NUMERO, Esquire, and Marie Claire, and is a regular contributor to the Japanese magazine commons&Sense. She has also collaborated on advertorials with global fashion houses such as Louis VuittonBurberryYSLPradaMiu Miu, and Dior.

Wanda also works in the commercial field, with clients such as CadburyT-Mobile, and other international brands, creating campaigns that merge her distinct visual identity with broader audience appeal.

Personal inspiration has always played a central role in Wanda’s work: painterly visuals and the world of the Pre -Raphaelites blend with musical subcultures, especially the aesthetics of rock’n’roll and punk.

She is the creative director of FOXES Magazine and regularly collaborates with major record labels such as Sony Music and Universal, including long-term projects like her ongoing collaboration with Aurora. Wanda photographed the album cover and full visual campaign for What Happened to the Heart?, including video content and social media visualizers. Her imagery also features prominently in Aurora’s latest book.

She has worked with artists, musicians, and performers such as Billy IdolZara LarssonSean LennonCarl BarâtEagles of Death MetalIDLESFontaines D.C.Grace VanderWaal, and The Horrors, as well as actors including Jamie Campbell BowerBen Barnes, and Sophie Thatcher.

Alongside her commercial and editorial work, Wanda continues to develop personal, conceptual projects and exhibitions — including The Ballad of Eternal Youth, a conceptual, documentary-style series created in collaboration with her father, and Songs of Innocence and Experience, a self-portrait project begun during the lockdown.
