Proving that beauty is indeed more than skin deep, Caesar Lima’s 'Unusual Beauty Project' concentrates on models and regular day-to-day individuals who have rare skin conditions, such as congenital melanocytic nevi, or CMN, which involves visibly pigmented proliferations on the skin, and Vitiligo, discolorations of the skin caused by depigmentation.

While Caesar’s lens is focused on these skin conditions and unusual birthmarks, the intent is not to show them for how different they are, rather to celebrate the beauty in the unusual.
